Open Access publishing agreement: Wiley
Authors affiliated with the University of Vienna can publish Open Access without any additional charges in approximately 1,400 Wiley journals under a transformative Open Access publishing agreement. Please find the agreement details here:

Author workflow | After the submission has been accepted, authors have to state "University of Vienna" as their affiliation and choose the "OnlineOpen" option in Wiley's author interface. The affiliation of the "corresponding author" to the University of Vienna will be checked by the Open Access Office. Note: 23 Journals do not follow the Author Services Workflow described here, but instead operate using an "OnlineOpen Order Form", a PDF form forwarded to you by the journal. Using this form, choose "KEMO: Universität Wien" to indicate your eligibility. |

1) University affiliates are defined in UG 2002 §94. Should you be a research grant holder please provide confirmation to that effect via e-mail.
2) If the FWF is named as a funder in the article it is responsible for Open Access funding (regardless of whether the corresponding author was involved in the project). There is a dedicated Open Access agreement between Wiley and the FWF, so there is no need to apply for reimbursement. Please note that the FWF funding requirements have to be met.
