Open Access at the University of Vienna

Services

We are happy to support University affiliates with content-related, financial or legal issues relating to Open Access if they want to (or have to) make their publications freely accessible (e.g. as part of an FWF or EU mandate). Specifically, we offer the following services:

  • Open Access Funding Schemes: we support Open Access publishing with a broad funding portfolio (also in the context of FWF projects)
  • u:scholar: allows primary or secondary Open Access publication of scholarly publications
  • OJS: we use OJS (Open Journal Systems) to support you with publishing Diamond Open Access journals connected to the University of Vienna

We invite you to visit our → trainings on Open Access topics. We also offer trainings tailored to your discipline on request.
